Driver problem with cd drive
advice/help would be much appreciated

SCSI\CdRomTSSTcorpDVD+-RW_TS-H553ADE04
OS: windows 7 Ultimate (x86)

I'd already had the XP driver installed from when I upgraded. Had to edit some stuff in the registry from Microsoft page, thanks for the link!
