Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That Nikki Lauda sickens me sometimes. One minute he's all about Lewis the next he's all about Nico. Either get behind both drivers or don't.

Actually he's one of my favourites. I think he tells it as it is, ala Spa and not saying "Oh we'll have to talk about it with both the drivers later and look at the telemetry blah blah blah..." He wears his heart on his sleeve and has a huge amount of passion for the sport.

poor form from Sutil. What's the point of even bothering to get it Q3 if you're not going to do at least one lap. not like you even have to worry about tyres, bloody restricted engine milage...

He did do one lap at the end. 2 seconds off the pace.

For FP2 yesterday, Lewis was faster in Sector 1, whereby Nico was faster in Sector 2. I wonder if Lewis was running slightly more downforce than Nico yesterday, & coupled with the rise in track temp, Nico's setup allowed him to take pole. The temos are expected to be lower today, so I wonder how that'll affect the setup dynamics.

    Come on Nico!

And more importantly, what is Pamela Anderson doing in the pits?

    That looked like Perezezezzzsss fault.

I guess with some stopping on lap one with safety car they might be able to do just one more stop

From a high yesterday to huge disappointment today for Sauber :(

Not good for Perez on the 3rd last race. Shame, he has done decent work recently.

Exactly, now I don't need to feel guilty boozing while watching the race :pac:

Not as guilty as Japan anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 890 ✭✭✭seamusk84

Also Rosberg was looking very racey before the safety car.
Lewis really has his work cut out for the afternoon.

Wow, how many places did Ricciardo drop at the start?

closest thing to a home race for him too and out on the first lap, not too good for him

Damn, could be another pedestrian race for Ferrari.
Let's get DRS activated and see what Ricardo does to the Williams!

That's a disappointing for Maldanado (5 second penalty), especially after such a great quali and start to the race.
Also notice he is only 2 seconds behind Raikkonen. Good race for Lotus.

    I hope this doesn't descend into a snoozefest. :(

They are all staying fairly bunched up. I'd say we might be in for an exciting second half.

    Also, go Grosjean!

The BBC need to turn up the volume on the feed there. Unless it's Setanta mixing it, either way can hardly hear the V6's

That's a massive blow for Rosberg, both mentally and in terms of points loss. That is his championship run IMO.

I'll just echo Brundle there: we're not even half way yet...

Swiss TV feed was all about the Alonso / Button battle, then suddenly, "oh look, Hamilton takes the lead, here's the replay"

Yup, some new tyres and it could all change.

Really shaping into a great race. Would love to see Alonso get on to Magnusssen next!

At least it's live and free (provided you've paid the Billag;))!

Can't see Rosberg getting past at this rate.

That was interesting to watch - wondering whether Rosberg might come out ahead after his box - but it's gone the other way. Hamilton's to lose, then.
