Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Don't bother.

Got one to use as spare & FM radio. Radio only works when headphone is plugged in (natcherly). But earphone is not supplied, and the f***ing thing needs an earphone with a non-standard micro-usb plug. Cannot even find one on ebay!:mad::mad:

    Waste of time. :(:(:(

Be advised the Sony MP3 dock doesn't necessarily scan at fifty, but is supposed to sell at that. So if you're using the price checkers don't be spooked, do ask somebody about it.

I think you buy the top up and they scan the phone in the same transaction. The total bill is €15..

yeah you buy the top up and they scan the phone and the price of the phone is reduced from the bill at the end of it. its locked to tesco mobile though

No, the stupid phone's USB side is non-standard size.:mad::mad:

Its probably a "Mini" USB connection, the standard one for Androids and Nokias is referred to as a "Micro" USB afaik...

If you have a PS3 the controller charge cable should be the same...

Providing its not some weird Tesco connection... :D

And the 25% of 6 or more bottles of wine starts tomorrow, for the weekend only.

Why don't Tesco just supply the earphone? Simples!

I think you're making way more of a deal out of this than it should be. Its quite a simple fix.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,900 ✭✭✭daytob

its a phone, not a fking radio. and its free if you top up, that could be why ALCATEL dont ship it with headphones, because of the price

According to the ad, there's leaflets in store too so you don't need to waste money on the rag - unless you want the Dunnes voucher too.

Not much of a bargain on the part of Tesco as Aldi were recently giving €10 of a €50 shop and even at the momentIceland are giving €5 off a €30 shop or €10 off a €50 shop (if you could spend that much in Iceland in one go!!). Tesco need to up their game to compete with the competition. Every little helps but they could do more!

Dunnes are doing teh same at the moment (on recipts afaik) €10 off for €50 spent and €5 when you spend over €30 = not too sure but a hell of a lot better than the tesco one.
EDIT: just saw the other threads - sorry ignore....

Don't be fooled by that 25% off 6 bottles of wine, it shouldn't be in the "Tesco Bargains", take Ogio Pinot Grigio for example, last year they were selling that for €8 per bottle...

    6 x 8 = 48 less 25% = 36 or €6 per bottle

on their website this is currently selling at €12.99 per bottle

    6 x 12.99 = 77.94 less 25% = 58.46 or €9.74 per bottle

    Where's the bargain Tesco?

It has actually increased by €3.74 per bottle (even with the increase in Excise duty Tesco are still trying to make fools of us)

Need to do a lot more Tesco
