Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My first idea is to learn to type some sense when posting a computer problem - what is that bold text up there, where are you seeing it and what are you doing when it appears? Maybe cool it on the exclamation marks too, they hurt my eyes :(

Second idea is to ask you what browser you're using, Internet Exploder? What's wrong with Firefox that you don't want to keep it? It is one of the most secure browsers out there and it's got a reasonably high number of users too

You don't need to download McAfee Security for the internet, it's an Anti-Virus software to get rid of viruses. It is smart to keep an Anti-Virus on your computer though, so where are you visiting with Firefox that gives a javascript error? Post the link

well for starters use firefox anyway. Its a much much much safer browser than IE. Google javasript updates or something and see if you can get anything, or some form of Java plugin perhaps?

try doing an online virus scan with http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
though if you have reinstalled the machine and its happening right out of the box i would be weary. is it a silly question to ask whether this windows your installing is legit ? if not then i think that might be your answer.
    - couly try putting like enable javascript into google and double check that JS is on - but that wouldnt give an error if it were off
