Pepsi V Coke...Can you tell the difference?

This was always a no brainer for me. It wasn't until recently that somebody said to me that nobody could tell the difference! :eek:

To me Pepsi was always that bit sweeter but I prefer coke. Although either does it for me.

Anyway, can you tell the difference?

God I'd love a coke now! :P

Pepsi is alot nice than coke in the states but it's the opposite here for some reason.

I believe I can taste the difference.

I get really pissed off though if I am in a bar and I ask for a coke and the person gives me a pepsi or vice-versa. Same thing with Sprite and 7up.

If I ask for a pepsi give me a goddamn pepsi! if you only have coke then tell me :mad::mad::mad:

I use to always drink diet coke(Still do the odd bit) But now I'm a pepsi max guy.

For some reason pepsi max just taste better, Also takes much longer for it to go flat or at least loose its taste.

That's kind of obvious though seeing as people recognise things with smell taste touch and sight, if you take any of those away the chances of not correctly identifying something are reduced :cool:

If someone said to me they couldn't taste the difference between Pepsi and Coke I would think there was something wrong with them, or that they're a heavy smoker at the very least.

Pepsi tastes like cardboard, Coke tastes amazing...in my opinion.

Yep i can. Pepsi is much sweeter. I don't drink fizzy drinks much anymore, but i'd always pick Coke over Pepsi.

From a can or bottle, i think i could tell the difference easily. If it is from one of those machines they use in the cinema or fast food restaurant, i reckon they both taste pretty much the same.

Pepsi is initially sweeter and nicer, hence why it won all those Pepsi challenges and famously and disastrously made coke change their formula.

But and it turned out to be a very big BUT, Coke is more satisfying then pepsi when you drink a whole portion as in a can. Which made Coke quickly return their old formulae to the market and call it Coke classic.

Personally I hate them both I much prefer a cup of tea but if forced I would order a pepsi.

Coke is infinitely better then pepsi, I am amazed at people who can't taste the difference. I would bet 100 euro on myself to pick the difference in a blind taste test.
Dislike pepsi so much that when I go to pizza hut, I must drink club orange!

On a side note, why can't they exist side by side in harmony in places?
Do the machines cost so much? Can they not do halfsies? One coke pump and one pepsi one?
