Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Anyone playing the open beta?
    Had a few games yesterday and enjoyed it, its no GR1 but its a nice change from the usual run and gun shenannigans.
    Plays pretty tactically and team based.
    Its open to everyone now and will be free to play when beta ends, well worth a look.

    Tactical and third person does not mix that well.
    Just for the single reason that enemy can sit in a cover and still be watching the whole area, but you won't see him at all. So many third person multiplayer shooters have this problem.

    I will still give it a go of its free to play. Howamy gb is it?

    Its 1.9 GB dload.
    I get what your saying about 3rd person shooters but this is different, its hard to explain but using cover and 3rd person doesnt give you as good a view as you might expect.
    Give it a try for yourself,its pretty good once you get used to the controls etc.

    which is still an advantage over someone who cant see you
