Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone on here has played bouzoukis by either of these Luthiers? I'm kinda looking for compare and contrast opinions? I've played a Foley once but only for a couple of minutes, not long enough to form a proper opinion on it.

    Hi,

Have a look at (ceird an ceol) its a tg4 series that was on a few years ago. there are episodes on several differant instruments but the bouzouki episode follows joe foley quite a bit. you can see what he has to say on the subject and a few others to. the whole series is on you tube. also Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh who is a fiddler with the gloaming had a go at uilleann pipe making... that episode is a good one.

    good luck
