Putting a pickguard on acoustic guitar?

    I bought myself a 2003 Gibson J45 yesterday, the difference between it and a 1940s model is it doesn't have the banner logo.
    Anyway the guitar doesn't have a pickguard on it (lifted on the guy who had it before me so he got it removed) and I was hoping to put back on a pickguard.
    There are a two problems..
    I don't know where to get one and I don't know what one to get (should I stick to what came on it in 03, or should i go for something like a j50 pickguard?)
