gettin rent allowence in a different county

    hey im wondering if anybody has ever gotten rent allowence in a different county to where they currently live, im living in mayo and hoping to move to dublin. i am on disability. do i contact dublin city council first? is that where i send my application?? :confused: any advice is welcome.. cheerz

    Hi there,

    I have recently split with my partner and lost my job also.
    I am staying in the rented home with child and a rent of 720 per month.
    the allowance for kilkenny is 600.
    will I have to move out? how does this work now?
    I would be very grateful for advice.
