Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    TheTibetan Buddhists mark the Buddha’s birthday today! :)
    According to their calendar, this month – called the SAGA DAWA –is a special month for practice as Buddha’s birth and also his enlightenment and parinirvana fall in this month.

    The celebration of his (Buddha Shakyamuni’s) enlightenment (when he was thirty-five), and parinirvana will be celebrated at the 11.th of June. According to the Tibetans on this day, the effects of positive or negative actions are multiplied 10 million times. That must mean it’s a good day to practice…
