Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to buy CT1?

    Ok this isn't an advert and sorry to mention product but anyone know where you can buy CT1 (the sealant/adhesive)? I need it for a small roof fix where I can't screw in lead and bitumen isn't really a good solution and obviously for that I can't use an ordinary silicon or sealant etc.

    Have looked for it in all of the hardware shops near me but they don't actually have it.
    That means I'd have to order it online which is a bit ridiculous....... (also expensive)

    Tec 7 will do the same thing. Available everywhere.

    Thanks! Does Tec 7 have an adhesive version? I've used the roofing tec 7 but not the other types.
    Is it good enough to bond lead to concrete? It's just for a small patch where I can't actually screw in the lead (I might do that eventually actually now that I think of it but for the moment if I could bond it, it'd be ok for the winter)

    All the tubes of Tec7 have excellent adhesion properties.

    Flashbanded it at the weekend. Heated the flashband with heat gun and it adhered pretty well. It'll do for the next few months and will stop rain getting in (it's a garage)
    Also sealed around the flashband with a roofing compound (not going to say which one :D) and it sealed perfectly. Would be good to get aluminium flashing or lead to fit over the whole thing but it'd be tricky to do it in that spot and I'll do it again sometime. It's not a visible spot from the ground anyway.
