Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I note that as ususal Dublin Bus are not attempting to think outside of the box with the impact of the marathon on services.

Routes 14,14A will operate from City to Palmerston Park until 14:30, and the 16/16A will operate only to Harolds Cross until 14:30.

As a result there will be no buses in Rathfarnham, Churchtown and Ballinteer other than the 75 and a heavily diverted 48A (diverted via Stillorgan QBC, Kilmacud and Goatstown).

Given that the 14/14A have 1 hour 15 mins to do each trip on a Sunday (excessive even in normal circumstances), surely the main market for those routes (Ballinteer/Churchtown) could be served (via Stillorgan) rather than Rathmines which still will have the 15/15A/15B and 65/65B.

Even that section could use the bus off the cancelled route 17 (until 15:00) for a shuttle between the City and Palmerston Park!

Rathfarnham residents have no 16/16A - surely again a bus service could be provided from Nutgrove via Grange Road, Sandyford and Stillorgan QBC to at least give people a chance of getting to/from city centre.

DB really need to think about providing a special service on this day rather than trying to keep the normal service going. Or would they need a licence from the Department for each alteration?
