hi all, was wondering if anyone knows how many minutes it would take to walk from Renmore avenue to eyre square? Or does anyone know how much a taxi might cost? Thank you in advance!

Abouts thirty mins or so unless you walk the line.
Taxi, not sure. A fiver with a hackney?

10-15min tops if you use the path by the train tracks.Go to Renmore Rd, walk away from Dublin Rd to the army barracks and turn right before the rail bridge.

Don't walk it alone at night anyway. There's no escape if you get confronted.

Personally I wouldn't walk it alone in the daytime either.

Google manuela riedo for the worst case.

Taxi .. most of the cost would be in the callout fee. So a lot cheaper if you hail one on-street, or use Hailo or the Galway Taxis app.

Many locals walk it often but if you're not comfortable just splash out on a cab for peace of mind.
