'Show Desktop' icon in XP

ok just a little problem i need solving, does anyone know how to display the 'Show Desktop' icon in the quick launch toolbar in XP ive tried everything! cheers

do a search for Show Desktop (should be in c:\i386)
hold down Ctrl and Alt and just drag onto Quick launch bar.

ps On the off chance this applies: Quick Launch not displayed by default in XP. Have to right-click desktop and enable it under Desktop properties.
