Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    http://www.irishtimes.com/news/ireland/irish-news/personal-details-removed-from-site-over-identity-theft-concerns-1.1872741

This morning's Irish Times has a story on www.irishgenealogy.ie which was publishing DoB, mother's maiden name etc of living Irish people up to last Friday. How dumb can they get?

This site was apparently set-up to provide historic information from the 1901 and 1911 censuses - but it has grown apparently to cover more recent information.

It is like the PPSN. When it started it was for social welfare, tax and that was about it. Soon you will need to provide a PPSN if you want a glass of water from the kitchen sink at home. Mission creep. Information abuse by bureaucrats. No different to Snowdengate really.
