Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The crucial question here I think is "English or French?" although I've put in a few more options. Please mention which brands you like and what you like to put it on too.

Well, I think it's all good, but I had to lean towards English in the end and even put a big dollop of it on a nice ham sandwich for myself as I posted. mmmh.

Atari Jaguar, because I'm not fond of either type. German seed mustard is clearly the only choice.

I find french mustard rather bland.

What are your opinions on more exotic mustards like guinness mustard.

I loathe Dijonaisse, but that's probably more suited to the Mayonaisse forum.

I think Dijonnaise needs a thread to itself actually.

American style/French's mustard is ok now and again on hotdogs/burgers, but it's far from preferential.

    Colman's English Mustard - powdered.
Mix up a bit a few minutes before you need to apply it to your sandwich/chips/meat.
You put care into mixing it by hand and you can vary the consistency to your own taste or the particular application.

The ready-made stuff is handy to have when you need that instant mustard hit.

If you feel like you're snorting steam out your nostrils (much like the clever advertising mechanism of the Bull in the logo) you've got a good batch.

I have a bottle of that in the fridge. Not too bad, not completely made up my mind on it though. I probably need to get a few decent sized sausages to properly try it out.

English. But not too much. Mustard should only be used sparingly, lest it become overpowering. A bit like... Erm... Something that overpowers if used too much... cocaine maybe... Mmm, cocaine on a hot dog...
