Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anybody know if existing UK subscription cards will loose ITV,CH 4,CH 5 after the subscription channels are switched off.I heard a rumour that this is going to happen or is happening which means that the amount of these cards in the market and consequently their price will increase.

No, they don't. I had a UK Sky sub until last month when I cancelled it, and I still have ITV1, C4 and Five along with all the FTA channels.

My parents (in Galway) have a cancelled UK sub card that was cancelled two years a go it still gets ITV, CH4 and Five.

I understood that a card that old would have been the old Series 1 card(light blue with Sky digital on it) which would have been switched off at the end of last year. From what I heard existing cancelled ex-sub cards would be allright but anyone who cancells their subscription from now on will loose their ITV,CH 4,CH 5 as well because of something to do with Sky's new free to air system in England.I await to hear if this happens from now on.

    I dont think so.
No Series 1 cards can now unscramble ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
And from its age your parents card is a Series 1 card.

Checked it out with them its a Series 2 card, dark blue one whth yellow house. The sub was taken out 2 years ago and cancelled after the first year. It was changed from the old card in the first year. All done through my dad's brother in London. Sorry 'bout the miss info.
