Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Switching Cards in Sky Box

    I have the Big Brother Interactive channel '7521' stored in the 'Other Channels' section. I have just got a FTV card . If I switch the cards to watch ITV and then switch back to my own card, will that channel still be in my 'Other Channels' section?

    I don't want to lose it as it is now hidden if I try and search to add it again!

    You should be ok, just switch to channel 999 swap the cards and wait for the new one to initialise and off you go.

    You will not be able to watch the channel 4 interactive feed with the ftv card as you must have a sub for this.

    To be on the safe side, do not add too many extra other channels, although the box can store up to 50 in theory,sometimes if you load more than about 20 it can on rare occassions reset your other channels and you end up with nothing and have to start again.

    THanks. I know that I can't access the bb interactive on the FTV card. That's why I want to make sure that channel '7521' that I have stored already will not disappear!

    My worry is that I switch the cards to watch channel4, then put my card back in and channel '7521' has vanished!

    The other channels like 7521 are stored to your digiboxes memory and not to the card.
    If sky Italia or Sky Japan( I dont think the latter exists...) were using the same encryption and EPG and were available on our satelite, you'd still keep your other channels if you were swapping their cards with your Irish one.

    So swap away you won't lose it.

    Not it won't effect the channel stored but it will wipe some of your favorites stored via the blue button:)
