Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks for that. Delighted to see my bench points are so low. Having as cheap as chips a bench as possible is always the way IMO. I'm surprised to see my captaincy points are so high although I did have Harry at the weekend and had Aguero for a couple of large hauls.0 -

Well again fair play to you too :cool:.Yes mine are doubled, looking through the stats I've never had a vc score more than 8 and lots of 1's & 2's with a couple of 0's in there as well! I had Austin and Kane captained for HT's, Kane for the double and Kun agaisnt Spurs hence my points are so good, I've had lots of 2 pt captains as well unfortunately!

Yeah, sorry, I hadnt set that up right. Not a huge Google doc user.
Should be sorted now if you want to add more info, and those guys added and sorted by captain points.

In that regard, Lemlin efficiency is pretty admirable: very few points wasted on his bench and one of the best (C) / (VC) picking ratio.
When I first asked boardsies to provide their own data for this table, I was expecting many of you to come up with a much better "(C) %" than myself. So that I could put the blame on my "disappointing" season on my bad captain picks stats. But I'm actually spot on average, so have to look elsewhere.
But if this table shows something, it's that there's not an obvious thing we can blame/praise ourselves for a disappointing/successful season. It's certainly a combination of several ones. Of course, as Lemlin example shows, being efficient with your squad can help but in the end it's not that decisive (e.g. Chesty & dasa, respectively the least and most efficient of us but Chesty leads him by 155 pts overall).
How do you do it? Didn't work for me. Had to "find and replace" spaces by | in Word using the "more" and "special" tabs (not sure about the exact names, just translated them from the French).And if you just paste from the google doc into a table format in here it comes out ok with no vertical lines needed.0 -

There's way too much stats crunching in the last few pages. I don't need numbers to tell me where I've gone wrong by veering towards following my gut reactions over sense this season. Although I'd give my gut reaction a 3/10 for being correct this season :pac:
I like my FPL like I like my love life.....becoming overly infatuated with a select few and wondering why it all goes so badly wrong when I keep talking about Mickey T. Eventually they just keep saying Ya Ya and I end up drinking Whiskey at 7pm on Sunday nights wondering where it all went so badly wrong

My big problem was Harry Kane to Pelle. I was going well until then. Up at 5k. Any other season I would have just brought Kane back in but his blank week persuaded me not to. Have managed to restore myself to 16k now but it was a season defining move.0 -
