Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hmm, was that a teency bit too quick of a stoppage?

    Arguable.

Edit: Nope, Christ. Right in the kisser.

You didn't? If Villante watches the replay, twice, he still won't see it coming.

Had Lawler by sub and when he rushed Villante after the knockdown I thought he was attacking the arm. Bastard decided to pound him out instead! :D

    Great KO though.

Don't think so. He was only going to take unprotected punches after that. When he stood up he was still out of it.

great card so far, reminds me of a lot of some of those fight night cards where most fights were a war
mind you on paper/betting a lot were hard to call

wondering what price lawlor was to win after round one?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,563 ✭✭✭The White Feather

I really thought Lawlor had no chance after the first round but wow!!!!!

What a KO ! Right on the button!

Ya you are dead right, just saw the replay there and didn't notice him on autopilot stumbling back into the cage once he got up.

Rather than seeing the full aftermath of that cracking punch and then making a decision I immediately posted here while he was on the canvas initially.

It's the way humanity is going.

Interesting, never thought of in-running betting in MMA.

Could be quite liquid tonight on Betfair because of the semi tolerable time it's on at?

Bit of a quick stoppage imo, he was still trying to defend himself, fighters can recover surprisingly quickly in those kind of situations. Not a horrible stoppage or anything but i'd like to see him given a couple more seconds there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,563 ✭✭✭The White Feather

I think Barao is taking back the title tonight. Just have a feeling that he means business

Barao at 2/1 is insane, this will be tight
    6/4 to go the distance

My prediction is 5 close rounds and lots of disagreement on who won. Judges and fans alike.

I'm a sexist chauvinistic loaner[typo, i'll leave that in] with the power to offend nations, genders and minorities with the merest of keystrokes and I say I only tuned in to to see Miesha Tate's bum as previewed in the Daily Mail about 2 weeks ago.

Sent that selfie of Miesha in the car[let's not muck around here, we all use google and know it] and got a pat on the head for my troubles.

In other news and without derailing the thread some Samaritan has uploaded Global Underground Steve Lawler Nu Breed CD 1 and 2 to Youtube.

I could easily move myself to tears right now if I so wanted. That's how much I am in control of my pristine body and my clear mind. :pac:

I think he rushing back after that. He should take more time.

Edit: I'm not kj-ing here I'm basing that from personal experience from the years of depatching and receiving similar kicks between making my holy communion and confirming my pledges to God in my confirmation as an 11 yr old.
