Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lol at the size of a minecraft world, just greater than the size of earth.

Unbelievable. Scrolling to the left reminded me too much of Leaving Cert Physics so I opted more for the right hand side. Incredible size comparisons. Thanks for that.

Also, I never realised that Texas was only the second largest American state in terms of land area. I'd completely forgotten just how big Alaska is.

I've seen visual comparisons of the sizes of planets and stars, but not stuff at the microscopic scale. Very interesting.

    "Estimated size of the universe."

Huh? We have an estimate for that? What do we believe to be beyond that estimated space?

No matter? Who the f*ck knows. The whole thought of infinity is weird to me. How can something go on forever?
