Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mini’s scientists, engineers and product designers have stared long and hard at the bottom of their favourite hot beverages and seen the future – a tea-leaf biofuel composite which they have harnessed to power the new MINI Cooper T.

Available as ‘Chamomile Yellow’, ‘Red Bush’ and ‘Earl Grey’ the ecological vehicles are expected to be lapped up by the British public upon release.

Each car can cover up to 40 miles on a single cup and comes complete with its own Dunk Avoidance Technology (DAT). The custom filtration system blocks the fuel inlet to prevent biscuit wielding passersby or owners from dunking their snacks in the fuel tank.

Head of Cooper T engineering, Dr. Ivana Kuppa, said, “This particular project has been brewing for years. Our extensive research has shown that the nation’s favourite drink is also an ideal biofuel. We already know good things come in small packages, but with Cooper T customers benefitting from up to 40 miles per cup, we are delighted to have the opportunity to bring this car to market.”

Britain will get its first taste of the Cooper T at Mini Cotswold Gloucester on 1 April where the vehicle will be on display.

    Citroen C4 Cactus Arsenal Edition

    Features a G.O.A.L.I.E. system

Citroën has prepared a special edition of the C4 Cactus dedicated specifically to Arsenal fans.
Distinguishing the Arsenal Edition from the regular C4 Cactus is a special exterior red, blue and gold color combination reminiscent of the Gunners' crest. The vehicle also receives a new system called G.O.A.L.I.E. - Geo Organized Away-day Location, Information & Entertainment.
Inside the cabin the infotainment system comes bundled with the team's away fixtures, as well as a database of pie and mash vendors, direction to matches and a music playlist consisting only of football anthems.
Announced today on Aprils Fools' Day, the Citroën C4 Cactus Arsenal Edition will be limited to 11 units and will reach dealerships later this year, with the exception of Citroën Tottenham.

    http://recombu.com/cars/articles/news/skoda-yeti-ice-special-edition-is-one-furry-customer

Who needs a heater when you the Skoda Yeti Ice comes covered in faux fur?

Did you know the heater tends to use up more petrol than air-conditioning? Probably not. But Skoda obviously did, because it has announced a brand new special edition model known as the Yeti Ice that ditches a traditional paintjob in favour of soft fur.

Skoda engineers developed the 'radical new faux fur finish' while working in the Himalayas. Skoda scientist Dr Yu Ciddingme said of the advantages: “The fur is so thick and luxurious that during our tests in the arctic circle, our test drivers didn’t need to use the heater.”

The Yeti Ice is based on the new Yeti and Yeti Outdoor. It comes with a number of options to further personalise the furry family wagon such as 'side-partings' and 'fur extensions'. A lifetime supply of Skoda shampoo and conditioner and a comb and brush kit help you keep the Yeti Ice looking like new.

It's not clear how much the Yeti Ice will weigh when out in the rain, but you will be so warm and cosy you probably won't even notice a severe drop in fuel economy.

“Everybody loves the new furry finish. People like to give it a hug and a tickle under the bumper," special developments head professor Lukat Thedate commented.

The 2014 Skoda Yeti is available from £16,600. A price for the Yeti Ice special edition is yet to be confirmed.
