Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Vrt on van commerical

    When you are buying a van up the north and you want to vrt it down south do you need to be vat registered to get the commerical rate vrt.

    So you wont be asked to show a vat number because when you are vrt a car they ask for your pps number?

    Not for commercials
    Sure theres loads of people importing (or buying new) vehicles that are eligible for commercial VRT because it saves10-15k off the price of an equivalent "passenger" suv.

    For light commercial vehicles VRT is calculated at 13.3% of the value of the vehicle
    Hmm, didn't know that.

    Learn something new everyday I guess. Turns out they removed the flat rate for <3500kg commercials only.
    Still cheaper than most passenger vehicles, but not the great discount it once was.
