Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Following the report published yesterday this would concern any would be parents. I have a question please.. My sister is due to go back to work soon after her maternity leave. Her salary was cut by approx 15% which she accepted. She received a letter on her last day before leave to say that all staff wages were being cut by a further 15%. She cant afford to accept this yet her employer is suggesting that she must as other staff have. What are here rights here? She's employed by them five years. As the report suggests - employers are treating staff who become mothers very badly and taking advantage of vulnerable women who should be enjoying a special time in their lives.

    Another recent case:

If she doesnt accept it I assume it would be redundancy. It doesnt appear that she is being singled out because she just had a baby

Its a family business and apparently a struggling business so 1. She doesnt think/know whether staff accepted all cuts (30%) and 2. as they are a struggling business, they could not afford to pay her redundancy (is the vibe shes says) What is the deal in such cases regarding redundancy; if a business cannot initially agree/afford such a lump sum?
