Savings accounts and PPS numbers

Any savings account I've seen now require a PPS number when signing up. Is there a possibility that opening such an account could affect a persons job seekers allowance payments?

They require a PPS to prove your a tax paying resident of Ireland.

It should not affect your JSA unless they review your benifits and you have thousands.
