A bit of a n00b question for you fashion heads here

Would these shoe boot things be OK with say a pencil skirt or a pencil skirted dress? With black tights?

Also would they be OK with black skinny jeans? Which ones are best!

I think they would be really nice with skinny jeans or a skirt. I'm not 100% if they would be nice with a pencil skirt But try them on and see. I love the first ones.

Thanks! I was leaning towards those ones.

It's hard to think of shoes to go with pencil skirts (for work say) which aren't open front heel types, flats or high boots..

I think all 3 you posted are lovely and would go with lots of things, but I am unsure about them going with a pencil skirt.
I always tend to think of shoe boots as being quite "cool" and trendy, and that they can be worked well into funky looks or rocky looks or even sexy/cool/casual looks, whereas I see pencil skirts as being polished and professional looking, they can also look sexy but kinda sexy yet formal/professional depending on how they are worn.

I think Mary Jane shoes go well with pencil skirts for work.

I do have a pair of very tight to the foot, sleek, high heeled shoe boots that combined with dense black tights work with pencil skirt. I also have similar ankle boots but they must be worn with black tights. Something like this:

You can find ones with different heel or cheaper model but V or U shaped opening in front is important as is sleeker shape.
