Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This'll be the biggest story in wrestling for the week or so. Jericho or Stone Cold can't say anything on their podcasts because they're kind of affiliated with WWE. I wonder which podcast will run with it?

Is JR's podcast affiliated with WWE? He could cover it if not. Did Meltzer and Alvarez do a podcast on it yet?

PWInsider says there's no heat on him. It was a hack and the pictures were posted on several social media accounts a number of times. Seth deleted what he could. WWE sent out a memo to all employees not to talk about it in respect of Seth.

Didn't you suggest there was nude pics of Lana last week?
Mortifying for Seth though no chance of no gossiping about it.

I always did think Seth reminded me of Edge :p more so now and his affair with Lita didn't damage his career of course I don't think there was leaked nude pictures of them

Jaysus mate. Do I have to google image "Lana nudez" or "CJ Perry nudez" for you or something. :p

At the start of the Triple H conference call, he noted the Seth Rollins situation, noting Colby Lopez (Rollins' real name) has apologized and that it was an "unfortunate personal situation.".

Is that an actual story from the Observer?

I don't trust Rajah for anything at all.

"The plan at the moment is a three-way with Lesnar, Reigns and Bryan for Wrestlemania" is more or less what he has said on his podcast. Reitterated it last night after Raw, says that "people who need to know know it is a three-way".
    Meltzer thinks it's true.

Never heard him say this nor have I read it. Got a link?

No, no link. I think he said it twice on different shows and Bryan Alvarez agrees. You have to dig through a lot of Wrestling Observer Radio/ Figure Four Online between now and when Macho Man died to find it.

His. Rollins seemed to be seeing or saw other women besides his fiance and Zahra too. Seth and Zahra are in a wrestler/musician clique than is known for shagging around.

Christ, how seedy. He's not going to get the bullet but this isn't the image that the brass will want from one of their top lads. He's going to be knocked down the ladder a bit unfortunately.

All this being said, and I do sympathise with his fiance, but this is what I can't stand about social media. I'd love to hear the justification from the hacker as to why what Seth did required humiliation in front of the world as well as hurting a career that he's literally given his blood for.

Seedy? This isn't the 50s. You're either very naive or trying to make this look worse than it is.

He's a young rising start in sports and/or entertainment who had a bit of extra giggitty that resulted in a naughty photo being posted online. If it were Cena it would be a problem, but this is barely a blip on the radar in terms of American celebrity culture. If anything, it's free press.

With you on this. Obviously Rollins is higher profile but Titus O'Neil and Matt Striker accidentally tweeted dick pics and nothing was said.

America and Ireland are pretty different cultures for a host of reasons from it being so big and being ahead of us cultural advancement wise. So we need to kind of step outside of ourselves a bit.

Zahra on the other hand I don't know. She open to criticism of sleeping her way to the top etc. And she's a woman (expendable) in WWE. She didn't have a stellar reputation before this.

*WWE disciplinary policy means that tame private life activities, shaking someone's hand the wrong way etc means immediate demotion to Sunday Night Heat jobbing :)

Rollins will be okay nothing will happen to him.

Zahra, now that be interesting, will they cut the losses with her cause Diva's are plenty a dozen and I'm sure they find some with Tats. Her rep with some of the other diva's backstage at NXT might be a little iffy when they bring their boyfriends around :pac:. She be seen as a homewrecker. I see her been kicked out to be honest. She's hot but there are plenty of hot wrestling women with tats out there.

Can't sleep so I Googled "Stephanie McMahon + Macho Man" and found this on the first page. The audio clip first aired in 2009 and I think they discussed it more intensively after he died in 2011. I remember listening to this in 2009 and it was the first time I heard about the rumour.

I dunno, that could be good worldwide PR. Oil rich countries with backwards views like UAE and Qatar tend to be seen as the big bad guys of the globe and, despite WWE running shows in those places, we know one thing they're not afraid of is making stereotypes a part of the agenda. And it's not as if WWE need UAE for anything beyond selling shows, they're not a particularly corruptible organisation like FIFA, say. The positive publicity and attention he'd get for speaking out would outweigh any negativity.

WWE signed a massive TV contract in that region. Saved their ass in their financials last year.

I doubt there was a clause that forbade their talent from saying anything negative about their country's values written into the contract, though tbh if it came out that there was it wouldn't completely surprise me! :pac:

She was the one who used to date Ziggler too.
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/23/amy-schumer-wwe-dolph-ziggler-sex-too-athletic_n_1825039.html
“The sex was too athletic. Always. [But] the first time, I was like, ‘Oh, this is cool. Nobody’s ever ragdolled me.’ He was spinning me like a Globetrotter," Schumer said about Ziggler.

Although his physique awed her, Schumer had to break it off because the sex was just too much. She dumped him via text, which is when she found out the muscle man had a very tender heart. Either way, though, Schumer was done.

HHH had to issue another statement today that he didn't hit Chyna after she said he on Russo's podcast.

“The false statements and reckless allegations made by Joan Laurer (aka Chyna) on a recent podcast about a physical dispute are a complete fabrication. While Joan has had significant struggles in life, this does not justify making such claims.”

What makes you say that? It's hardly that far fetched, and she doesn't totally bury HHH if all she wanted to do is make him look bad. She said he regretted it immediately and started crying.

She has nothing to lose by telling the truth and little to gain. HHH on the other hand....

This. This is what she has to gain. She lost everything she'd worked for because of this. The facts that we know is she's told this story a million times before and it's all been consistent, then he does an interview and discusses her for (I believe) the first time and all of a sudden there's this new, HUGE bit of information that, if it could be somehow proven true, would seriously damage her ex. Those are the facts.

Until then it's one person's word against the other. We'll never know for sure. But if you wanna analyse it further, let's make it a credibility issue: one person has risen in their career to the level of head of talent relations and future heir to an international, multi-million dollar corporation. The other has had serious substance abuse issues, worked in hardcore porn, is currently involved in what seems to be a bidding war for her marriage, and appears to have every reason (financially and otherwise) to make herself relevant with some headline news. Again, those are the facts. Harsh or not, facts.

Don't get me wrong, I'm HUGELY sympathetic towards Chyna. We did a good 20+ minutes on her situation on my most recent podcast (a piece I'm really proud of) that basically made the case that the least WWE owe her is a HoF spot. But on this particular issue, based on the facts we know alone because idle speculation is massively unfair with allegations as serious as this, I think it's fair to be skeptical about her claims.

    Christ:
Russo and Lucha Underground are in talks and he’s expected in Los Angeles for a meeting this coming week. The public story is that he’s going there to interview talent for his podcast, notably Maria Santos, the super attractive ring announcer. But Eric Van Wagenen has been pushing to get Russo in, and even those who think he’s not going to get in have said they figure when he’s there he’s going to make a push for it. Others have questioned it saying besides his track record and he’s got no background or knowledge of Mexican wrestling.

Van Wagenen gave a professional denial:

    https://twitter.com/EricVanWagenen/status/565726385055203328

Doesn't mean an intermediary like Konnan hasn't talked to Russo.

Please God make this a non-story. I can be a Russo defender at time but keep him as far away from Lucha Underground as possible. His eyes would light up with mask on a pole matches every week!

feel that post needed a "There can be only one"

Big Dave doing a great job landing decent roles and not taking on lower level ones atm. I'm still very curious about the deal he signed with the WWE though as at the time I remember it being reported as being a multi-year full time deal but that he would work around filming. Is it just that each new role he gets means he won't return to the ring?

that Chael thing def would be interesting too though surely he wouldn't be long before he would get in a confrontation with someone.

Off the top of my head; 5 movies, 2 live action series, a cartoon series and an anime adaptation.

Problem was that most of the movie sequels were absolute abominations.

Still, I've always liked the concept if they can be bothered to do it right.

Somewhat more on topic, if it's an actual reboot of the original plot does that mean Big Dave is the Kurgan?

    From Bryan Alvarez
On the Bryan and Vinny show, right after they went over the fatal four way from "Rival", Bryan mentioned getting a message from someone in WWE.
The main roster wrestlers are becoming increasingly agitated at how the NXT wrestlers are allowed to actually wrestle and put out all the stops when performing, while the main roster guys are forced to just "entertain" in nothing matches. Of course the main eventers get to sort of go all out on PPV, but the undercard is woefully limited in terms of match quality. While the money is too good to give up, most of the roster loves wrestling, and are pretty sad about not being able to show what they can really do.
This is said to be doubly true for the women. The women are pretty mad, because they get to do next to nothing on TV shows, building up to nothing matches on the PPV. The NXT women, however, are having outstanding matches that are presented as "co-main events" with the men.
As a note: nobody is upset at anybody from NXT. But this fits in with the story that for months now, it's been increasingly obvious to everyone in the company that NXT is operating on a higher level than RAW/Smackdown in terms of quality.

Good. They should be pissed off. Will anyone have the balls to go to Vince about it? Doubt it.
