    CODA (2013) 9 min - Vimeo

What an absolutely beautiful and poignant film.
And to think that it only just missed out on this year's oscars....

I'll admit that going only on the video's thumbnail I clicked into this thinking I was in store for a more cutesy childrens' film.
    How wrong I was.

Lovely art style, and there are so many great little things to spot in almost every shot. Soundtrack is quite nice too, and I think the use of ambient recording of what sounds like a night out in Dublin really added to it.

Overall, it actually kind of overwhelmed me, and choked me up a little.

It played before Finding Vivian Maier in the IFI last year and completely caught me off guard as I knew nothing of it beforehand. Lovely little film.
