Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm backing Man City and Sunderland both to win tomorrow. Sunderland were evens, have shortened to 10/11 v Peterborough. I know it's the FA Cup but Sunderland are in the middle of a great run and they'll want to keep that going.

-Bastia (2nd division) (vs Sochaux - Ligue 1) @ 2.10 : Sochaux are awful this season while Bastia are 3rd in Ligue 2 and score lots of goals.
Just read that Richert (Sochaux' 1st choice GK) and Marvin Martin (their best player) are out for this game, a Bastia win looks even more likely now.
Odds on Bastia in the French cup have dropped from 2.10 to 1.80, I'm even more confident about this bet now.

edit: Bastia's 1st choice keeper is out for this game, still fancy them to win.

Get in!! Sochaux, just like Chelsea, are a great team to bet against. :)

Sorry in advance for the stupid question but if someone could kindly confirm.

Well basically, i am closing my online account as it's too easy to make stupid little bets. I will be going into the bookies instead. This will ensure i place less bets. Anyway, i know the type of bets I do are not listed in the shops so can i write the information down on a betting slip and place it that way or are my selection of bets limited when placing bets in the bookies?

Is there any good websites that show you penalties scored/ missed when a game goes to penos, apart from bet365. Trying to follow that bordeaux match

@Fonze, cant see a problem once the bet is wrote out properly and states clearly what your market you 're betting on is.

ive often gone in and done overs bets, handicaps etc.. if u write down odds from say a corner/card bet on the slip from the bookmakers website it should be allowed..

same as and im tempted to put a bit on -1 and -2 aswell.. Not often Utd lose 3 on the bounce but with the way city have been playing at home it could easily happen..a cup tie though could throw the formbook out the window..im waiting till the teams are named

Peterborough v Sunderland is made for Asian handicaping, O'Neill might rest a few but think they'll beat a Championship ship who have been mediocre this season.

    @ 2.10

Your bet on Sunderland at (-0.5 & -1.0) is:
    - 100% Win if Sunderland wins by 2 goal(s) or more
    - 50% Win/50% Refund if Sunderland wins by 1 goal(s)
    - 100% Lose if Sunderland loses or the result is a draw

What bookies sum up how handicaps work now?

    thats gotta get annoying

I learning to like them! Did the Sheffield Utd Cup game today with one
Your bet on Sheff Utd at (-1.5 & -2.0) is:
    - 100% Win if Sheff Utd wins by 3 goal(s) or more
    - 50% Win/50% Refund if Sheff Utd wins by 2 goal(s)
    - 100% Lose if Sheff Utd loses or the result is a draw or Sheff Utd wins by 1 goal(s)

So despite the game finishing 3-1 due to late conceded goal I still kept my accumulator alive.

Will be waiting for the teams but a buoyant Sunderland at 10/11 tomorrow is brilliant value.

As a United fan, I've no intention of betting on the match, but was fearing the worst. However the more I think about the more I realise the amount of performances we've pulled out of nowhere, so ultimately I'd have to advise anyone to stay well away from the Win-draw-Win market!

    French cup matches today

PSG and Montpellier both to score over 2,5 goals (team, not match)

    Double @3.36

PSG plays 4th division opponents while Montpellier plays a team that finished bottom of the 4th division last year without winning a single match all season. Cant find anywhere what level they play now and how they are doing but my guess is that isnt a great team.

Was tempted to add Lyon over 2,5 at the same odds (1.83) as they also play 4th dvision opponents, Lyon Duchere, but they are actually 2nd in their league and as you can see it is a Lyon derby. Duchere might have some fight in them.

I'd price it up at around 20/1

  • Registered Users Posts: 502 ✭✭✭hellfish08

Think it will be a tight match in Manchester today, games have been low scoring affairs at the Etihad in recent years (2007 0-1, 2008 1-0, 2009 0-1, 2010 0-1, 2011 0-0) Also when the sides met in the FA Cup semi last season it finished 1-0 to City. Yes there were 7 goals the last time the sides met at Old Trafford but that was a freak result.

    I'm predicting Under 2.5 goals @ 10/11
and hoping for 0-1 to United @ 10/1
