Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

NCT Emission Fail

    Hi All

    Failed NCT on emissions and just wondering if anyone has an idea what the problem is


    Low Idle CO 0.15 vol% Above 0.50vol% fail
    HC 43 ppm
    High Idle Lambda 1.00 Not between 0.97 and 1.03 fail
    CO 0.49vol% Above 0.30vol% fail
    HC 73ppm Above 200 ppm fail

    Its a 1litre Corsa. There is a new exhaust and new plugs in it. I do suspect the egr valve has been blanked as there is a plate between it and the engine block. Might this explain why low idle is grand and high idle is not. The tester seemed baffled why one was ok and the other not.
