Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Michael Moynihan TD of Fianna Fail is up to a bit of parliamentary mischief.

    As this Bill is all but passed, and this kind of thing was already discussed and set aside at committee stage, it looks like a bit of a stunt. Still, it’s sound populist tactics and might cause the Minister a bit of embarrassment, particularly as ISP speeds are mentioned in the program for Government.

    Comreg "claimed" they would insist on this in 2006 I think. It probably doesn't need legislation!

    You wouldn't get away with marketing nappies the way Broadband and especially Mobile is marketed here.

    The Government I think when NBS was "invented" didn't want any proper figures and honest marketing as a not a single NBS customer has Broadband. It's Mobile or Satellite.
