Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can you predict or suggest what politicalslogans the political parties will use on posters-literature in the next GE, whenever it might be.

Your suggestions can be something they might use, should use, or a witty one that they´d never use.

    Here´s a few

FF - We´re doing our best
A lot of people done, more to do!

    FG - Ireland´s choice
    Ireland´s alternative
    Strong on government

Lab - Towards a new Ireland
    For a new Ireland
    An Alternative Ireland

SF - We haven´t gone away, you know
    Fighting for Ireland
    Fighting for a fairer Ireland

CSP - Yes, we still exist

Greens - Greens are good for you

Amhran Nua - Sick of the same old broken record and broken promises, vote Amhran Nua

FF: We did our best, honest.

FG: Strong leadership in the face of adversity. Steadying the waves. In control of the boat (No doubt there will be endless naval metaphors from this party of charismatic-less planks)

    Lab: Spend, Spend, Spend!

    Greens: Please vote for us!

They could all be green and recycle

Of course that means the Greens, the legend, in his own mind in any case - that is GoGo Effyerself- sorry, Dep. Gogarty, especially would need new posters

SF - Vote for us ...or else!

Greens - We know you like cabbages - now you can elect them again!

Amhran Nua - We are none of the above - thank fcuk!

Labour - Seriously. Look at the other fúckers.
That would almost get my vote.

Anyone further to the right than Labour and it'd almost definitely get my vote.

Labour : What do we stand for? Your guess is as good a mine.

We'll oppose everything if you vote for us, even our own legislation!

I wouldn't be surprised if the generic "Free <insert freebie> for all" was played by every contender (though the recession will hamper that a little).

Fine Gael are already playing it. Their advert for FairCare reads "Free GP Care for all".

Also, expect the usual cries of "Fairness" and "Equality" from, well, everyone.
