Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2.7% of men in Ireland are gay, would have thought the figure would be higher.

Fair play to him for coming out, especially a sportsman.

To be married to a member of the opposite sex and be actually gay would that not make you bisexual?

You could be right, I've definitely heard this lad's story before. He is a sound guy though.

Ya, who also admitted to trying to commit suicide. Crazy to think they could both be brought to the brink over coming out.

    *clears throat*

    To begin, at the beginning.
It is Spring, moonless night in the small town, starless and bible-black, the cobblestreets silent and the hunched, courters'-and- rabbits' wood limping invisible down to the sloeblack, slow, black, crowblack, fishingboat-bobbing sea. The houses are blind as moles (though moles see fine to-night in the snouting, velvet dingles) or blind as Captain Cat there in the muffled middle by the pump and the town clock, the shops in mourning, the Welfare Hall in widows' weeds. And all the people of the lulled and dumbfound town are sleeping now.

    :P

It's staggering really to think that. Great to see them happy in their lives now. I hope society keeps growing more open and accepting on such matters .

Thankfully times are changing and sportsmen and women are beginning to feel that it's okay to be true to themselves. I was so happy when I heard of the GAA captain who thanked the player's girlfriends and boyfriends for their support.
