Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am a reasonably intelligent women and my dear husband is not too shoddy either but we cannot set the timer on our above boiler despite following the instruction manual which I down-loaded earlier!

I have set the real time correctly but when I try to set the timer for the morning - it all goes mental.

It talks about the "SET" button - I can see no "SET" button.

I just want to set my boiler to come on an hour before I get up but there is an option of 20 (yes twenty!) programmes - I only want one!

Can anyone be arsed to talk us through it?!

    TIA

    Ann

The reset button is in the top left hand quarter of the timeclock. Press it with a blunt object such as the tip of a pen. This will reset to factory settings & you can then follow the input instructions of the varying times you require.
Numbers 1 - 7 refer to the days of the week.

But I do agree they are not the most user friendly time clocks.
You would install an external simpler clock & bypass that clock, but this would have to be done by a RGI as it will require wiring inside the boiler.

Thanks Shane, I have already reset it and then entered the "normal" time. What button do I press to start entering my varying times?

Repeatedly press the Programme button (on left hand side) until you see --:-- on the screen.
