Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ---

CompSoc are holding an epic LAN in the fantastic 091labs (http://091labs.com) who have generously/foolishly given us their home for the night.
The bloodshed and battle will commence at 4pm on Saturday, the 31st of March.

There will be free pizza for all who attend to keep you pwning throughout the night and a tuc shop for all those who need MOAR sugar to fuel their EXTRA PWNAGE!!

The event is in aid of Habitat for Humanity, who improve the living conditions in Africa substantially by building houses.

We will have a number of games at the event, including

We are open to suggestions for games and if you have one, simply pop it in to compsoc-committee@compsoc.nuigalway.ie

Entrance cover is €10! €5 cheaper than in Wired! For twice the amount of hours! With free pizza! Plus added karma!

Tickets can be bought in the Socs Box.

List of stuff you will need to bring:
    Your own PC
Your own PC power supply lead
An extension lead (if you have one)
    Headphones
Any game you would like to bring along to play.

We hope to see you all there!
