    Hi

I have a client whos website is being marked by spam and not showing on google when it "should" be, is there any other reason than that its a new domain and it will take time for Google to index it. The domain was bought in June.

Has it a sitemap that Google can download and use?
Check the robots.txt in Webmaster Tools and see if it is blocking Googlebot or other search engine crawlers.

    Regards...jmcc

    1. When you say "Marked as Spam" ... do you mean it has a manual penalty ?

    2. Was the domain ever owned by anyone else in the past

    3. If you type site:www.websitename.com in the google search box, do you see any results ? - it can just take time for index status to update in WMT

Facebook! well thats a completely different kettle of fish then, after they deem enough real people are sharing your links / posts ,visited your site, and clicked "not spam" you might get rid of the warning.

Just type the entire warning message into google, there are tons of reasons their algorithm can flag a site as spam, its possible they picked up cookies / contact / register as a possible phishing element on the site and from there placed the warning on the users screen.

The site has pretty much zero links to it which might be hurting credibility as well. I'd start with contacting facebook directly though as they had issues with this a few months back.

*Edit: Uusing a URL shortener "may" also remove the warning.

**Edit: Facebook has offices in Dublin and writing a registered letter to them about the warning and your predicament has worked for others.
