Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got a Torpado hybrid-bike back in April and albeit with no cycling background I am very happy with it. However I have yet to see anyone else on a Torpado!

I'm wondering what sort of reputation do they have as manufactures among cyclists?

Haven't heard of them in years, very old Italian Marque that should probably be up there with Bianchi in terms of prestige, suspect changes in management/ownership over the years hampered their growth. Have recently seen some of their current models and would guess that they've gone down the far eastern route (which is no bad thing in itself) for manufacturing. Would be nice to see more of them, where did you buy your bike and did they stock a full range of Torpado bikes?

Many thanks for the info. They are stocked by TMG Cycles Skerries Dublin and I guess they can order them in but unlike Giant or other popular brands there may be a delay. Very happy with it so far.
