Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm studying Web Development and I picked up a book called "Build You Website the Right Way Using HTML and CSS" but its an older edition from 2006 and it uses XHTML not HTML5 like we are using in the course.

Can I still go through the book and learn enough to use both without a much of a problem or is there enough of a difference between XHTML and HTML5 to cause me issues ?

Don't use such an old book, things have changed a lot!

Yeah I figured things would have moved on a lot but still hoped there might have been some use for it.
