    Wondering if there is a better time in the year to sell a mtb or does it make any difference when you sell.i have a rockhopper sl and not too sure what to do with it.any suggestions?

    This is the best time of the year to sell mountain bikes (probably all sorts of bikes .... except maybe CX!).
    I know from personal experience that it is difficult to achieve a reasonable price for MTBs these days particularly for higher end 26" wheeled models! Adverts.ie or Done Deal would probably be your best bet. You could also try the MTB forums (Epic or MAD) but the guys on on there tend to be interested in more specialised mountain bikes than your Rockhopper!
