Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi
    I would like to 'try' and design a website, i'll give it a bash anyway.
    I have heard of wordpress, can anyone else recommend any other software that would help you build a professional looking site easily?
    I have googled it, however, I would prefer recommendations from people who are in the know, or have done it themselves.

    Register a domain name
    Buy hosting
    Install Wordpress
    Tweak one of the standard themes (the 2014 standard one is pretty good to begin with) or grab one of the many available out there for free or a relatively low price
