Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shipping a large part from the UK

    My wife has an 05 Suzuki Ignis 4Grip and the rear axle needs replacing.
    Having looked around pretty much every breaker in this Island of ours and not finding the needed part I enquired further afield and located one in the UK.
    The price is right, £120, but they have asked that I arrange shipping, they'll stick it on a pallet for the courier to collect.
    So,
    What are the options here?
    Has anyone brought in such large and heavy items, what companies did you use and how much is it going to set me back?

    I did but went thru partsgateway.co.uk where they provided best price for part and delivery charges from breakers

    Try http://www.parcel2go.com/ie/ , you'll get a quote there on your cost.

    If that's too large then your best bet is to get DHL to collect it.

    Ive always used Paisley freight. They were the best i found at the time. And brought a whole seat interior set for me that i got on Ebay on a pallet.
