Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

NCT Fail - Slip/Slide and Suspension imbalance

    Hi there.

My e46 320d just failed the NCT with:

    Slip/Slide:
    Front -15m/Km
    Rear -19m/Km

Suspension imbalance on the rear axle is 38%.

I guess the suspension imbalance can be remedied with new back shocks?

How can the slip/slide failure be remedied?

    David

Four-wheel alignment. Probably worn bushings and so forth under there as well. Get that sorted while replacing the dampers.
