Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm not sure if anyone here will be able to answer this but I may as well chance my arm.

I'm currently considering transferring into second year of the BESS degree. As a transfer student would I be eligible to apply for an erasmus year? I've e-mailed the erasmus office with this query but they seem slow to respond.

I think they base allocation on first year grades. Don't know whether those from your previous course would be accepted. I suspect not.

No, the allocation is based on second year grades. I'm on Erasmus (BESS student) right now, and I had a requirement to get a 2.2 in SF year.

Just to defend my info, I transferred out of Bess, but when there was told by one of the first year lecturers that the reason we should work hard at that point is that our possibility of going on Erasmus would be based on it.

I got that as well. Just wasn't the case for European Erasmus exchanges. It COULD be the case for highly coveted American or Australian ones, but again it depends on the demand.
