Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Any opinions? I'm looking for a sub-contrabass (C#, F#, E, A), and they can build one, and not too expensively. Any input?

    Only thing is they seem to be luthiers first and instrument makers second... And by the looks of things, they don't seem to be able to fret it for you. Still they're cheap and if they're willing to ship to Ireland then they're a rarity as well :)

    You will be wasting your money. Look at the pictures - orange peel on the finish, bridge holes that are randomly drilled...

    The prices do look good for a custom build. But it's the first time I've ever seen a truss rod as a custom extra.

    Also, be aware they don't include a finish on the builds, but it is an extra.

    The cheap price doesn't include a truss rod. Let that be all you need to know.
