Power cable repair around North city

Hi, The power cable of my compaq laptop is need of repair. Think it may just be loose wires. Does anyone know a place or electrical shop around north city centre , Fairview or Clontarf that would do this? Many thanks

Which end of the power cable? The brick, or the mickey mouse end?

(Brick = the cable that goes into the laptop, connecting to the power brick. Mickey Mouse = the end that fits into the brick at one end, the socket at the other.) If it's the mickey mouse end I can give you one for nothing. The brick end is more complicated...
