Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PCSpecialist UltraNotes - any opinions?

My Dell XPS has died for the second time, so in the market for a new laptop. I have a gaming PC already, so this is really a second PC for missus and something for travelling. So I'm thinking that integrated graphics (HD 4000) will probably be fine: at least I'd compromise on that for long battery life.

What do people think of the PCSpecialist Ultranote?

I could pick one up with an Intel Core i7-3632QM @ 2.20GHz + 8GB memory for £601.00 (don't need the OS). However, there's no mention of what the battery life is like, plus the build quality. I've heard PCS are good in general, but have no idea of this particular model.

This laptop is being discussed here already.

Yes, there is, check the specification tab. PCS claims a battery life of up to 5 hrs with the stock 48 WH battery (up 7 hrs with a 61 WH battery).

There is no telling as no UltraNote has been delivered yet. Watch their forum for reviews.
