Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hero to Desire HD - can I bring my texts?

I plan to get the Desire HD in the next week or two & want to make sure I can take everything with me.

Most info is fine, as it sits either on the cloud, or my memory card - such as contacts, pictures, emails etc...

But I also want to move my text messages onto my new phone, is there a way to back up my sms's & restore them to the new phone? I am currently using a Hero. I have wave secure installed, but don't want to subscribe on the new phone as it doubles up on much of the HTC Sense features...

Yes, use SMS Backup & Restore (on market) to backup your SMS messages to an XML file on your SD Card.

Then install the same app on your new phone and restore the messages.

Should work (in theory!). I use it all the time to back up my messages when I'm changing ROM.
