Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

doubt you'd get a job after doing them, you'd be way over qualified for the Indo....:pac:

Hey OP, I'm doing a CMIT diploma in photography and it's a waste of money. Spelling errors everywhere, it's printed wrong - each assignment says Diploma in Psychology not Photography. The theory of it is old, nowhere near current. The assignments are very vague. I've had it near a year and me and my friend who is also doing it can barely bother to bring ourselves past the 5th assignment because it just feels like a waste of time.

OP, I like your style. Most journos wait until they have a job before they ask
Boardsies their opinions or to do their work for them ;)

Jaysus! That's unforgivable! I was even thinking about that photography course myself.

I'll be wary from now on. Does anybody know any other home-study "colleges"? Something like Open University where I can do a course on writing/journalism?

I thought that if you wanted to be a journo, you only needed a few basic qualifications, like an 80 a day fag habit, an endless supply of Jack Daniels, and the ability to type with one finger on a 1947 Remington type-writer. You've also got to be a dirty, foul-mouthed lying bastard.

Where's Dudess at a time like this?

    Here I be!

OP, just think up some ideas... better yet actually write sample pieces - then submit them to papers/magazines.
If you're a good writer, that'll do the talking for ya. :)
