One of the things that I always wondered about Solaris, was who were Snaut's and Sartorious' guests. It's implied that Sartorious is visited by a child in a straw hat, perhaps a son/daughter or niece/nephew.

Snaut refuses to tell anything about his guest, at least directly. In a way, it's kinda fitting that we are left in the dark, as the concept of the unknowable dominates the work. Last time I read, I picked up on something, but am curious if anyone else has a theory?
