Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

stone mason to dry stack natural stone

    Looking for a good recommended stone mason with experience to dry stack quartz for wall and piers. Any opinions or unbiased info by pm much appreciated please

    Carlow, Kildare, Wexford border area, not to far from Kilkenny or Laos either so we are very central to a lot of counties

    I suggest you get on to the Architectural Heritage Officer in the relevant Local Authority, they usually have lists of people who specialise in craft work like this, don't expect your average mason to be competant to dry stack quartz for walls and piers

    Contact the Dry Stone Wall Association of Ireland, they will recommend wallers in your area.

    Here, we do! Dry Stone Wall Association of Ireland - www.dswai.ie - have a list of stone-masons and dry-stone wall raisers.
